Longines Global Champions 2024
Rayner Farms ltd tock part in Longines Global Champions in London August 2024 for the 12 year in a row. Longines Global Champions is a show jumping series that comprises up to 15 rounds of competition hosted around the world with our leg be head at The Royal Chelsea Hospital. It brings together the top 30 riders in the FEI Jumping World Rankings.
Rayner Farms Ltd is responsible for the groundwork, which involves diligently transforming the venue from a grass lawn and banks into a world-class show jumping arena, over two weeks. After the show it takes us one week to clean up the horse manure and bedding from the stables, and restore the land and grass.
The ground preparation involves laying down topsoil to ensure optimal condition for the show jumping arena.
Supply of four jcb loadalls, 3 Jcb Diggers, Tractor and trailers, Dumpers, Compressor’s, roads weepers, Vacuum tankers, pressure washes, ship containers, tyre repair service and qualified plant operators plus carpenters .
Supply 200 tonnes of graded corticated Topsoil and 100 tonnes of Sharpe Sans
Seeding, irrigation, and mowing of the grass areas
Removal of the horse manure with telehandlers. The horse manure and bedding are sustainably recycling through being used as a natural fertilise on our arable crops in Berkshire.
Communicating with and organising a road sweeper for the show site and nearby roads, to ensure the environment remained clean and presentable
Construct temporary fencing both wooden for horses, and metal security fencing.
Supporting the Show management team. We are their 4th Emergency Service.
